Yes! Our baking mixes are Certified Gluten Free through the Gluten Free Certification Organization (GFCO). We test every one of our products to ensure safe consumption for those with gluten allergies, intolerance and Celiac Disease.
Yes, all our mixes certified kosher (OU).
All of our baking mixes contain no milk or egg products ingredients. We are not a certified Vegan company.
All of XO Baking Co.’s products are 100% trans fat free, and never contain any artificial colors or flavors of any kind.

Our products are free from both peanuts and tree nuts. Most of our mixes do contain coconut.
The Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Network states that coconut, the seed of a drupaceous fruit, has typically not been restricted in the diets of people with tree nut allergy. However, in October of 2006, the FDA began identifying coconut as a tree nut. The available medical literature contains documentation of a small number of allergic reactions to coconut; most occurred in people who were not allergic to other tree nuts. If you are not sure whether you can tolerate coconut, consult with your doctor first.
Yes, the All Purpose Flour Blend contains no added sugar.

General Baking Questions

Yes! Our All Purpose Flour Blend has been formulated to replace regular All Purpose (wheat) flour, cup for cup, in any recipe. No need to toss your old cookbooks. Use it for cakes, cookies, muffins, brownies, pie crust, quick breads, scones, pancakes, waffles and much more!
Spoon the flour into your measuring cup and level off with a knife. You should never use your measuring cup and scoop it directly into the flour bag. This may cause unwanted packing, resulting in an overly thick batter.
The beauty of our All Purpose Flour Blend is that xanthan gum is already inside. Simply take any recipe (cake, cookie, etc.) and just replace the flour cup for cup. It’s that easy!
Absolutely! We love using extra virgin coconut oil to replace veggie oil. Whether you are using virgin or refined coconut oil, the oil will need to be heated and melted, so it’s in a liquid state
If you are preparing any of our baking mixes that call for unsalted butter, we suggest using the fabulous vegan butter sticks that are in most grocery stores. Miyokos makes amazing vegan butter sticks, along with Country Crock. You can also simply use a vegan shortening.
If you are looking to use egg replacements in our mixes, you can certainly use the Ener-G brand of egg replacer, or an equivalent brand. However, we love using ground flax seeds and water. In order to create this mixture, mix together 1 tablespoon ground flax seeds + 2.5 tablespoons water, for each egg. So, if the recipe calls for 2 eggs, you’ll mix together 2 tbsp. ground flax + 5 tbsp. water

Shipping Info And Retail Store Info

Once baked, our products will stay fresh at room temperature for about 2 days, wrapped tightly with plastic wrap or a sealed container. Once baked, our products freeze wonderfully. Simply wrap tightly with plastic wrap and store in a freezer bag. Products may be stored in the freezer for up to 6 months. To defrost, just thaw product on counter, at room temperature. You may also freeze raw cookie dough, wrapped tightly, for up to 3 months or refrigerated, for up to one week.
